I’d been bouncing around an idea about a “murder by numbers” game for a while. You’d deal all the cards except for a few, and you’d win the game by guessing which of the cards were not in player’s hands. The idea was solid, I just couldn’t find actual simple gameplay to support it.
Until I played a few card games that are based around (unknown) numbers too, which gave me the final push on how to approach this game! I quickly finalized the rules, prototyped it, and then I finally had my “Death by Digits” game about guessing the missing numbers :)
